This is helping me to be more sympathetic towards Judge Moore. Part of his argument is that its not just the "religious" aspect of the monument, but the appropriateness of Federal intervention in State affairs.

The very idea of Johnny Cash in the same context as Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott is disconcerting. I'm not a huge Cash fan, but he has a certain, err.., "gravitas" that most of the overproduced, hyper-sexed "artists" of today can't even approach. One would think that the MTV awards would be below him.

Its things like this that conspire against me to prevent me from working.

Lastly, Jars of Clay and Caedmon's Call are playing at the Maryland State Fair tonight, for only $5 a person (the cost of admission to the fair). We're looking forward to it.

Maph, I played Two Towers on the PS2 and thought it kicked arse. I had a lot of fun with it; in fact, I think I bought it. I wonder where that sucker is....

Also, you could call the 'blog Maphblog if the current title doesn't feel right.

I finally beat it using Legolas. I keep getting my butt kicked with Aragorn at that second to last level, though. Stupid catapult.

Maphblog is nice. I'll mull it over.

Johnny Cash is the greatest American Christian songwriter ever. Bob Dylan transcends the genre really, and Cash just dives right in and rips it to pieces.

I had the TOUGHEST time beating that w/Legolas. He's just so much weaker than the other two characters. I think Aragorn's my favorite--he's got the coolest special moves.

I wonder if Cash had any influence over whether or not he was included in the MTV awards; I'll bet they just select people and assume they'll go along with it.

But Legolas has that rapid fire bow. If you've got a ton of guys running at you, he's awesome. If you have a ton of guys on you already, though, well, you're toast.

The guy I have the hardest time with at the Helm's Deep: Deeping Wall is Gimli. He's just not fast enough to keep up with everything.

yeah, but he's the strongest. also, it's fun hacking the legs out from under the baddies and laughing about it!
