fiddlin' with the blog
I've been messing around with CSS, RSS, and blogging icons. I've now got several possible feeds: the standard feeds, which only include excerpts, an RSS version 2 feed that includes the entire body, and a v2 feed that is just the comments. If you use a feed reader such as SharpReader and you download the feed that has the entire body of the post, there's a side benefit in being able to quickly see other blogs that the feed may point to. Some of this is still being worked out, so it might be a little buggy.
One of the reasons why I did that (aside from the geek factor) is because I, in my great wisdom, think all blogs should have comment feeds so that my life will be easier. If you want more info, please let me know, and I'll give you the templates I'm using.
I also ran across this and this site, which have some good resources for blog icons. Playing around with those, I came up with the BaltiBlogs icon below, plus the RSS Body, and IMDb icons. For those on BaltiBlogs' sister sites, I also come up with these, if you're interested in using them instead of the "Hosted by X" links:

![]()
![]()

I am by no means a graphic designer, so I'm sure somebody else can do a much better job than this. Please do, in fact.
