You may have heard of the current 'Master/Slave' controversy in LA county. The Urban Legends site at Snopes took a look at this and confirmed that it is, indeed, true. (via Dave Barry)

In my mind, the funny thing is that this is so outrageous it would actually need fact-checking by an Urban Legends Reference page.
