Well, that's done
So, my wife and I are back from spending Thanksgiving day with her folks in Dover. It was a ton of fun: good times and fellowship with the family, plus enough food to last for two or three days, with plenteous turkey, gravy, rolls, stuffing, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie, and so on. All the traditional American foods, served all at once. Sure, we left there last night waddling to the car, but it was worth it.
Another thing that was worth it was that my brother-in-law rented LOTR: ROTK for the GameCube and I got to play that for an hour and a half with him and my other brother-in-law. To sum up: its dang cool and I look forward to having my own copy.
Lastly, I was quite proud to hear of Bush's trip to Iraq, even if the NYTimes and the BBC can only whine about the political calculations.I guess everyone automatically assumes that the other side always does things only out of political necessity - conservatives thought that of Clinton, and liberals now think that of Bush. What can you do?
