A valuable lesson

If you're ever on I-95, going South through Baltimore and you see signs of any trouble at all for the Ft. McHenry tunnel, take I-895 and the Harbor tunnel. I have sat and waited, even with EZPass, for close to half an hour at the toll plaza for the Ft. McHenry tunnel because a tube was closed and traffic was so slow.

Today, on the way to Bethesda, I saw that the left tube of the Ft. McHenry tunnel would be closed and decided to try 895. Approaching the tunnel, I saw the line at 95, which looked to be 1/4 - 1/2 a mile long. 895, however, was a breeze, with absolutely no wait at the toll plaza at the end.
