Something More
I just got an email from Comcast (my ISP) saying they had doubled my transfer rate, and won't be charging me extra. I ran an initial speed test, which showed my speed of around 1.5Mbps. Then I did what they told me to do in order to activate the new service: unplug the cable modem, wait 60 seconds, and then plug it in. I did that, reran the speed test and then got transfer rates of 2.7Mbps.
This will not radically change my life, or even my surfing habits since I don't download huge files that often. But it still makes me happy.

Interesting. I wonder if I'll get the same thing. I should be running a server out of my house...
