OTTAWA - A former Canadian warship that once guarded the Gulf of St. Lawrence against German submarines is being auctioned Thursday on eBay.
The Maryland Independence, built in Nova Scotia in 1944 to carry 20-mm cannons, is being flogged as the quintessential party boat with a galley, air conditioning and a full-blown entertainment system, worth between $295,000 US and $375,000 US.
If I read it right, its already in Maryland, so shipping should be cheap, eh!
