ROTK Update

I just bought the tickets for my wife and I to see ROTK on opening day Wednesday. How exciting.

Incidentally, we're going to see the 7:30pm showing at Loews in White Marsh. If anybody who reads this wants to meet us there, that'd be great. Unless, of course, you're a psychotic stalker. Don't bother in that case.

I was thinking that we should organize a Baltimore Bloggers viewing of ROTK. If there's one thing that goes together, it's Bloggers and Tolkein.

What is your estimate on how fast these tickets will sell out? I might be interested.

My guess (for what its worth) is that tickets will go quickly. At the least, I strongly doubt that there will be any available tickets day of, which is why I sucked it up and used fandango (grumble, grumble ... excessive charges ... grumble, grumble). It'd be great if other Baltimore bloggers could come along.

Alright, I'm in. I'll see you guys there. I might bring some people as well. They probably won't be bloggers though...oh well.

Fandango wasnt that bad...ticket was 8.75, which I think is .25 more than regular at White Marsh. Plus 1.00 in service charges...not that bad compared to what ticketmaster does to some shows.

Fantastic. I'm guessing we'll be there around 6:30, just in case there's a bad line to get into the theater (there was for Matrix3). If not, there's always Starbucks ...

Ok, I got my ticket. I'll try to get there between 6:30 and 7:00 - hopefully the traffic around the beltway wont be too bad. If they start letting people in before I get there, I'll find you in the theater.

Just got my Two Towers DVD on Monday; I've been reviewing!
