We got the bugger
So American forces finally nabbed Saddam Hussein. I, for one, am quite happy about this. Politicizing aside (what is Reuter's problem?), this is great for the Iraqi people. A ruthless and bloody tyrant who has been terrorizing their lives for decades is now nothing more than an old man being checked for lice. That's a good thing - now they can get on with the task of creating a new, capitalist, democratic country where they they can substitute the terror of torture chambers for the terror of Western pop culture (which I'll take any day over plastic-shredders).
Its also gratifying to know that maybe justice can actually be borne out. The world is filled with enough tyranny and suffering; I'm glad to see some retribution being meted out in my lifetime.
