Getting geared up
As homage to The Movie, and with a nod to Penny Stock, I present this link to weaponsmasters.com, the home of all of your LOTR needs.
Not only can you get every single costume you would ever want and plenty of authentic jewelry, but you can also get a wide variety of Lord of the Rings Swords, including (but not limited to), Sting, Glamdring, and Narsil. Oh, and Gimli's Axe, too.
And these are not your cheap, Toys 'R' Us plastic swords that you hand to three-year olds, either. This is serious stuff. The collector's edition of Narsil measures 5.5 ft and was made by "renowned swordsmiths of Toledo, Spain". All yours for the low, low price of $354. The only apparent drawback is that it doesn't say anything about Sting or Glamdring glowing when Orcs are near.
Not only do these swords strike me as excellent accessories to take to a ROTK screening (probably quite handy for dealing with obnoxious cell phone users), but I think this could be the final sollution to the whole gun control issue. Let the government regulate all the guns - keep an authentic copy of Narsil on hand instead! Any intruder is sure to be scared off at the first sight of an axe-wielding suburbanite.
