I'm back
We pulled into our own driveway late Saturday night, after spending three weeks away. First was a week in DE to spend Christmas with my wife's family. Then, two weeks in Atlanta to spend New Year's with my family and take care of business work.
It was a truly restful time. We've been blessed with great families on both sides, so there's not really any of the stereotypical in-law tension. And we got to see a bunch of good friends, including a fun night with the Goseys and Crabbs. After a really busy and stressful fall as my wife finished and I started grad school, simply being able to kick back and spend significant time with loved ones was an immensely welcome relief.
And now, back to the grind.
