On Reformed Historiography
It is odd that Reformed people are critical and suspicious of all recorded miraculous occurrences from the early Church, but frequently accepting of supernatural events in the last several hundred years. We assume that any supernatural occurrence in the lives of men such as Polycarp and Ambrose were Medieval redactions, but uncritically accept stories of things such as visions of Brainerd and instances of miraculous provision for George Mueller.
I'm not sure what to do with that.
