Bad ways to start your day

include having to wade through a slimy cesspool of comment spam left on your blog. This is the third or fourth time in the last two weeks I've gotten hit by some perverted and deranged comment spammer who seems to be specifically working to circumvent MT-Blacklist and the MT2.661 comment throttling mechanisms and thus dumping loads of spam on my blog. To anyone subscribed to my comment feed, I apologize for making you have to wade through all that.

The frustrating thing is that MT-Blacklist is blocking a ridiculous amount of spam already. It just takes one person to break through, though.

I've been trying to check the other baltiblogs to keep them clean as well. So far, the only one that seems to be getting hit as badly as me is ipd. If anyone else is, please let me know.

I usually get 1 or 2 a day. They are occasionally perverted or deranged, but usually they are for some inane business product. Thanks for all the work you do!
