Josiah has more info, but basically all comments will be turned off for the weekend in order to stop comment spammers from repeatedly killing the terrablogs servers. Early next week we'll be moving to MT3 so as to use the comment features of it. Once upgraded, we'll be bringing comments back.
I am very sorry for this. But the alternative is to let the comment spammers wipe out the server. If you've noticed error messages from Baltiblogs, it's been precisely because of spammers leaving tens of thousands of comments and overloading our servers. A good portion of that has been blocked, but since there's been so much the blacklist script itself seems to be dragging down the servers.
I appreciate your patience. Hopefully we'll have this under control ASAP.
