• Coffee is good
• The staff at GBMC was fantastic. I continually wonder why they let us take Samuel away from there
• Childbirth is a strange confluence of trauma and wonder
• Newborns and Greek II finals do not mix well together
• Neither do newborns and sleep, for that matter
• Being the male half of the parental unit can at times lead to feelings of powerlessness as, really, Amy gets hit with the brunt of it all. If Samuel's crying from hunger at 3am (and 4am and 5am), for example, there's usually nothing I can do to "fix it." This can be frustrating at times.
• I can see how easy it is to be paralyzed by fear and worry ("is he still breathing? Are you sure?")
• Samuel really is the cutest creature ever (I think the look of mild apprehension below was because he knew he was about to have his diaper changed)
