heresy
Although I've been a staunch Firefox user for a while now, I decided to give the beta version of IE7 a spin a little while ago. Surprisingly, I've found that I like it, in some ways even more than Firefox. So far, some of the good points have been:
- Cleaner interface
- Hard to tell for sure, but it seems to have worked out the security holes in IE6
- Tabs are slightly easier
- Mechanism for the quick search box is smoother
- Various web pages (gmail, for example) display and function better than Firefox
Some things I don't like:
- I miss mouse gestures
- I wish more search providers were available
- I wish I could move the toolbars around more
Just some addled thoughts on a dreary Monday morning. Anyway, browser wars are good; the browser was stagnant for too long.

Interesting, perhaps I'll give it a shot. I feel more comfortable in Firefox, but the memory issues are a pain. All in all, competition is a good thing.
Also, you know IE7 is going to be a contender if Google made a stink about it. ;)
